Explanation of Installers
Please note there is only one installer regardless of the version you intend to use. After installation the software will give you activation options.
If you are using the Trial Period there are two options: Capture One and Capture One Pro. Capture One is a limited edition of the software. If you are looking for the full Pro version, be sure to select Capture One Pro.
If you are a Phase One Digital Back owner, you may now use the software without an activation code. Select Use Capture One DB and you can start working right away. The only limitation of this software is that it will not work with DSLR files or tether to DSLR cameras.
If you are interested in using Capture One Pro you can enter a code you already own or purchase one via the Digital Transitions web site.
Activation/Deactivation: Capture One 5.x allows you to activate and deactivate through the software. This process gives you freedom to easily switch from computer to computer.
To deactivate:
Go to Capture One>License
Select the code, click Deactivate.
Click the check mark to agree then click Deactivate.
To Reactivate, select the code then press Activate. Please note that you do need an Internet connection to reactivate.
You can use your Capture One Pro key with Capture One 3.7.x and Capture One 5.1.2 simultaneously.
